Description: Apartments in Paris |
|
Arranged over two floors and with very high ceilings, Cognacq-Jay very much has the feel of being a private house. This is complemented by the fact that the entrance staircase with its dominating skylights, flowers and plants remains exclusive to the property and is thus very much integrated into it. The decor lends a 'cultured', elegant ambience which sits alongside its unique execution with original exposed beams to make it the quintessentially 'Parisian.' Paris apartment rental.
Bright and very quiet, South-West facing windows overlook the courtyard of an impressive 17th Century 'hôtel particulier''.. The vacation apartment comprises 1 double bedroom, a large drawing room, dining area, separate kitchen and bathroom with bath/shower.

This Paris apartment rental is located on a quiet street deep in the 'Marais', just minutes from the contrastingly modern Pompidou Centre and just across the river from Notre Dame. There are plenty of small intriguing museums nearby such as the Musée Cognacq-Jay and as for restaurants, cafés and shops, you are simply spoilt for choice. The Marais is not an early riser. Weekend mornings are particularly quiet, with no more activity than a reluctant trek to the boulangerie or visit to the local cafe for a petit noir. Dear Mr Burgess,
Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our vacation in your Paris apartment. We got some well-needed rest and fell in love with Paris. The apartment was comfortable and everything you described it as being. Thanks so much, we shall be in touch for an apartment for our next Paris vacation.

Hi James,
Thanks for taking the time to make our vacation rental in Paris such a hassle-free one. We normally stay in the St Germain but the Marais was a breath of fresh air and we would love to come back (if you'll have us!)
